Description
The Mammographer will perform mammography procedures in compliance with the applicable scope and standards of practice, as well as the organizational policies and values. The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Conduct mammography examinations with precision and care.
- Utilize stereo and needle localization techniques as needed.
- Handle DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) procedures, if applicable.
- Work collaboratively with a team to enhance patient care and efficiency.
Schedule
The position offers a schedule of 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, from Tuesday to Friday; on-call duties are not required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current mammography experience is required.
- Certification in Mammography through ARRT (R)(M) is mandatory.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required before the start date.
Applicants must possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
