Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with specialized experience in neonatal care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a NICU setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses.
• Utilize advanced equipment including but not limited to Nitric Oxide (iNO), oscillator ventilation, and NAVA.
• Manage ventilation support for neonates, including bubble CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide comprehensive respiratory management.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Respiratory Therapy License.
• Current NRP Certification.
• CRT or RRT Credential is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with specific experience in NICU settings.
• High school diploma and college transcripts required.
• Must possess license prior to starting.

Preferred Experience

• Nitric Oxide (iNO) administration.
• Experience with oscillator ventilation techniques.
• Familiarity with NAVA and bubble CPAP systems.
• Competence in the management of neonatal ventilators.
• Experience in handling high-risk deliveries.

Work Schedule

Night shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.
