Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice. This role requires adherence to hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab environment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Be willing to float to other departments as needed.

Work Schedule

This position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week, working five days a week, with flexibility to accommodate four 10-hour shifts. Weekend requirements include participation in call rotations and working one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Cardiac Experience: Strong proficiency in cardiac nursing is required.
• Cath Lab Experience: Previous experience in a Cath Lab is essential.
• Travel Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.
• MediTech Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• State License: Must have a valid Michigan nursing license at the time of application.

Additional Information

The COVID vaccine is not a requirement for this position. Candidates must be open to on-call responsibilities, which include being available one weekend per month.
