Job Overview

This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks up to the end of February
• Shift: Night shift (3x12 hours, 18:30 - 07:00)
• Orientation: Required attendance during the first week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Float Requirement: Ability to float to multiple locations as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of MRI experience required
• Traveler Experience: First-time travelers are not accepted
• Preferred Skills: Familiarity with imaging procedures for chest and post-processing
• Certifications: Current BLS and ARRT certifications required

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will possess skills in:

• Abdomen and pelvis imaging
• Head and neck imaging
• Spinal imaging
• Musculoskeletal imaging
• Diffusion imaging (non-brain)
• Gradient echo imaging
• Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA)
• Multi-echo imaging
• Peripheral magnetic resonance
• Spin echo images
• Use of surface coils
• T1 and T2 imaging sequences
• CINE imaging

Patient Care

Candidates should be experienced in caring for a diverse patient population, including:

• Adolescents
• Adults
• Geriatrics
• Preferred familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients

Equipment and Systems

The applicant should be proficient with:

• GE and Siemens MRI systems
• EPIC documentation and communication systems

Additional Requirements

Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm Team or Hurricane Team and may be required to report for duty during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters. Mid-contract consolidation to a centralized office may occur, and staff may be re-assigned to various units as necessary.

Dress Code

Scrubs must be royal blue.
