Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various cardiac interventional procedures and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4x10 Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: Some Saturdays required as part of the regular schedule, with every 4th weekend on-call
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• RTO: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer; only 1 request per 13-week assignment

Unit Information

This position involves working with:

• Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization
• STEMI response protocols
• IABP, Impella, and Tandem Heart procedures
• Structural Heart interventions (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
• Interventional Radiology including lines, drains, embolizations, and stroke thrombectomy
• Neurointervention and CRM Device implants

Qualifications

Required:

• 2 years of relevant experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
• EP, IR, and Vascular experience
• Monitoring and Neuro experience

Preferred:

• Experience with CTO and peripherals
• Venous access skills
• Rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience with Philips X-Ray System
• Familiarity with a variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
• Knowledge of temporary LVAD support
• Experience with McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP
