Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
- Support interventional procedures including STEMI interventions, IABP, and Impella support.
- Perform device implants and manage various CRM devices.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Utilize advanced technologies and equipment in the Cath Lab and EP Lab.
Schedule
The position follows a 4x10-day shift schedule. Some Saturdays may be required as part of the regular shift rotation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrophysiology or electrocardiology.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
- Ability to float within similar units when needed.
- Experience with Philips X-Ray Systems and various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices is preferred.
- Strong skills in rhythm interpretation and venous access techniques.
