Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown unit. The successful candidate will utilize clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. As a critical member of a specialized team, you will care for cardiology patients and contribute to exceptional patient care as part of a high-performing unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient health status, ensuring timely interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials focused on cardiovascular health.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Stepdown experience.
- Proficiency in cardiac care and monitoring.
- Comfortable with EKG interpretation.
- Travel may be required.
- Willingness to float to similar units as needed.
- Current Michigan nursing license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
