Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities and provides an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and advanced medical procedures.

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Days off will vary based on department needs; consistent days off cannot be guaranteed
• On-call requirements include weeknights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 4-6 shifts a month
• Float to Pre-Anesthesia/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is required if necessary

Patient Demographics

The patient population includes those with procedural conditions such as:

• Pancreatic, Lung, Colon, and Gastric cancers
• Polyps
• Barrett's esophagus
• Common bile duct stones, strictures, and cancer

Special Procedures and Unit Details

• EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)
• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
• Navigational Bronchoscopy
• EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound)
• Manometry
• Fibroscan

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement for all RNs
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required
• This unit accepts first-time travelers
• Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
