Description

Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Position Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients, fostering comfort and confidence, while ensuring their individual needs are met.
Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment, including but not limited to x-ray machines.
Position patients accurately and utilize radiologic equipment to obtain the images requested by a physician.
Conduct all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensuring that the physician on duty is notified of the results.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of X-ray experience.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).

Work Schedule:

Weekend shift required on Sundays only.
Additional shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from evenings to early mornings, totaling 40 hours guaranteed.
