Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position is suitable for both experienced nurses and first-time travelers. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary credentials and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care options.
• Float to other units as required to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience; profiles will be reviewed by management for candidates with only 1 year of experience.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Schedule

This position requires working a day shift with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.
