Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional vascular and IR lab procedures, along with proficiency in endovascular techniques.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 4x9 hour shifts, starting at 0700 - 1630
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• On Call: 6-8 days, including every 4th or 5th weekend depending on staffing requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting (required)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience (preferred)
• Proficient in endovascular techniques (preferred)
• Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred); licensing candidates will be considered with valid timelines
• Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI (nice to have)
• Experience with thrombolytics (highly preferred)

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)

Application Requirements

• Work history/resume demonstrating 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience (required)
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab (required)
• Professional reference check from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the past 24 months (preferred)
• Driver’s license (required)
• Iowa Radiology license documentation (highly preferred)
