Description
Position Summary
The Day/Evening Rotating Nurse position is a full-time opportunity that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The scheduling will be a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, which will vary based on unit needs. Nurses in this role will be required to work on weekends and be available for call as needed.
Shift Options
- 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM
- 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM
- 10:30 AM - 08:30 PM
Call Requirements
Staff typically sign up for 2-3 call shifts during a 4-week scheduling period. Call hours may include:
- Evening: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Night: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Weekend: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM / 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- BCLS certification is required.
- Experience with circulating and scrubbing preferred.
- Experience with EPIC documentation is required.
- Preferred specialties include neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci). Experience in oncology is also preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care within a rotating day/evening schedule.
- Assist with circulating and scrubbing as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC software.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

- WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the garage.
- WB Annual Permit: Available for weekend and holiday parking; access to various lots and shuttle service.
- CXS Annual Permit: Available for weekend and holiday parking across multiple locations.
