Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Emergency Department (ED). The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in high-pressure environments, providing care for adult patients with a variety of critical diagnoses.

Contract Details

• Contracts Available: 48-hour and 13-week contracts accepted until February 27, 2027.
• Shifts: 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Orientation: 36 or 48 hours.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation skills.
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, and BLS.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• ENPC certification.
• Experience in trauma care.

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in the ED, managing a range of cases including STEMI, STROKE, and LEVEL 2 trauma patients. The typical workload includes approximately 170 visits per day, serving both critical and non-critical patients with specific ratios:

• Non-Critical: 3:1 (4:1 during callouts).
• Critical Patients: 2:1.
• Medical Border Patients in ED: 5:1.

Unit Systems

Familiarity with PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems is preferred.
