We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and competence in executing radiographic procedures while adhering to safety protocols and providing exemplary patient care.

Shift Details

The position requires availability for an 8 am to 4 pm shift, with weekend duties required every fourth weekend.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform various X-Ray examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of current X-Ray experience - Required
• Active New York State license and ARRT (R) certification - Required
• EPIC EMR experience - Required
• Experience in level 1 trauma hospitals - Strongly preferred
• Previous travel experience - Strongly preferred

Profile Requirements

• Work history documentation
• Skills checklist relevant to the position, current within the past year
• One signed supervisory reference from within the last two years of employment
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Driver’s license

As part of the onboarding process, completion of training from an approved organization is required as of January 1, 2024. Carrying out verbal de-escalation training is integral for this role.

All candidates must undergo a 14-panel drug screening upon offer acceptance. Vaccination against COVID-19 is strongly encouraged.

Note: Availability for requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be indicated at the time of application. A maximum of 5 days RTO is accepted, and late requests will not be approved.
