Description
Position Overview
This is a full-time position for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will float between units, including Pediatric Medical/Surgical and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as necessary.
Schedule and Work Requirements
- Shift: Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)
- Weekends: Required, variable scheduling
- On-call: Not required
- Block scheduling: Not required; self-scheduling is encouraged
Patient Ratios
The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license
- PICU experience is required

- Type of Facility: Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Total Staff Beds: 181
- Scrub Colors: Navy for all RNs; Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue for Respiratory Therapists
