Description

MRI Technologist

Position Overview

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Shift Information

Shift: Day/Afternoon
Hours: 36 hours/week (3 shifts of 12 hours) from 0630 to 1900
Every 4th weekend required, along with taking weekend call every 12 weeks

Essential Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Maintain and operate MRI equipment, including Siemens and GE systems.
Utilize Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse for patient documentation and imaging management.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
ARRT(MR) certification required.
BLS certification required.
Ohio license required for candidates holding a Radiologic Technology degree.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage may be required.
