Shift Information
Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Minimum Years of Experience
3 years of recent Emergency Department experience is required.
Certifications/Requirements
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) are strongly preferred but not required.
Description
The Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with a total of 38 beds, including 2 trauma bays, and ranks among the top 10 busiest Emergency Departments in Ohio. The position entails 36 hours a week, with every other weekend and holiday coverage required. Excessive requests for time off around holidays will not be approved. Although taking call is generally not expected, rare requests may arise.
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are mandatory. It is essential that candidates have completed at least 3 ED assignments or have 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in Epic EMR; submissions lacking this experience will not be considered.
