Shift Information
12-hour shifts available:
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule
Every other weekend is required. Floating to other units within the organization may be necessary based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Active RN experience in ICU/MICU is required.
- Certifications required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Experience with EMR: Epic is preferred.
Unit Details
Patient population consists of adults. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1. Scrubs should be navy blue.

- Ventilator management
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- IV sedation
- Neuromuscular blockade
- Arterial lines and central lines
- PICC line management
- Blood product administration
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and 12-lead EKGs
- Hypothermia protocol
- Stroke and neuro care
- BiPAP/CPAP and High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
- Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Wound vac management
- Adherence to isolation precautions and infection prevention
Parking Options
- WMC Monthly Permit: Includes guaranteed 24/7 parking in the garage.
- WB Annual Permit: Provides surface parking and shuttle service, with garage access available on weekends and holidays.
- CXS Annual Permit: Includes surface parking and garage access on weekends and holidays.
Permits can be purchased through the designated parking portal. Refund requests for annual permits can be initiated as per the policies outlined.
