Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse contributes clinical expertise and professionalism in delivering and orchestrating care for patients in a progressive care unit.

Shift Requirements

Start time: 1900 hours
Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Weekend commitment: Every other weekend and holiday
Floating required to all inpatient and emergency department areas

Unit Details

Patient Ratios: 1:4 (may increase to 1:5)
Types of patients and conditions flown: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Ablation, Angiogram, TCAR, EVAR, Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Stroke, Pacemaker placements, Sepsis

Certification Requirements

Active BLS certification
Active ACLS certification
Active NIHSS certification

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting
Willingness to float to the emergency department and all inpatient areas
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Orientation Dates

Orientation sessions are scheduled for the following dates:

October 26
November 9
November 23
December 7
