Emergency Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Emergency Room Nurses to join our team. This position offers both 36 or 48-hour shifts, providing a flexible option for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
Monitor and assess patient condition, intervening as necessary to stabilize patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform charting duties using Epic software.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Current certifications required at the time of submission:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius.

Schedule

Two weekend shifts per contract are required.
