Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room (ER) department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics, ensuring individualized treatment based on age-related growth and development.
• Administer drips and manage ventilator support as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with pre-hospital and in-hospital personnel to provide comprehensive emergency care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members throughout the care process.
• Adapt quickly to stressful situations with professionalism and composure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current emergency department experience.
• Prior travel experience of at least 3 months is required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Must possess a valid New Hampshire RN license or a compact license.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation.

Work Schedule and Requirements

• Full-time position, requiring 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of 48 hours per week.
• Must be available to work every other weekend and during holidays as needed.
• Travelers are encouraged to note any requested time off at the time of submission; changes to schedule requests after submission will not be permitted.

The work environment is dynamic and requires strong teamwork among emergency responders, pre-hospital personnel, and ER staff. The department sees over 26,000 visits per year and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
