Job Description
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
Shift Notes
- 7a - 7p
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- May float within the same discipline
Weekend Requirements
Every Other Weekend
Unit Specifics
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 Days, 1:5-6 Nights
- Uniform: Navy Blue Scrubs
- Patient Population: General Medicine patients
Orientation Dates
- 10/26
- 11/9
Holiday Requirements
Traveler will be required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. There is a limit of 1 day request off between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Med-Surg experience
- Experience with EPIC
- Experience with Heparin drips (preferred)
- First-time travelers are welcome
Additional Information
Candidate will need to adhere to the policy requiring that all applicants be at least 50 miles away from any facility within the region.
Active BLS certification is required.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
