Shift Information

This position offers an 8-hour workday, Tuesday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with a guaranteed 36 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, and experience with CT is a plus. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• CT experience preferred
• Venipuncture experience required
• New York State license required
• ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification accepted
• Experience with GE machines
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
• Must possess their own vehicle

Compliance and Orientation

All travelers must have a current New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration to be considered. Compliance with medical and vaccination requirements is mandatory prior to uploading for consideration. Orientation for the position is 8 hours and is non-billable.

Time Off Policy

Requests for time off during this assignment must be noted and verified upon submission. A maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.

Dress Code

Personal scrubs of any color are required; however, no designs or cartoons are permitted. Hoodies are not allowed.

Additional Information

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with a 2-hour notice. This position does not require weekend or on-call availability.
