Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient conditions, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring outcomes.
• Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality care.
• Delivering patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning.
• Practicing within the RN scope of practice and nursing standards.
• Recognizing and responding to patient complications and changes in condition.
• Supervising and delegating appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

• Active RN license.
• 3+ years of nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience providing patient-centered care and managing multiple priorities.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and professional nursing standards.
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5, flexed to 1:6. Care for patients ranging from therapy levels of care to PCU level of care.

Additional Information

• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call or holiday shifts required
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis preferred; training is available
• HARP/CPI preferred; training is also available
