We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in MRI technology and patient care, ensuring quality imaging services.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans with a focus on adult outpatient procedures.
• Utilize the Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI unit effectively, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Administer contrast media as required while adhering to best practices in preparation and administration.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care and service delivery.
• Document procedures accurately within EPIC systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience.
• Experience with musculoskeletal imaging, including hip/bony pelvis and knee.
• Proficient in spine imaging, including cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, and thoracic regions.
• Current certifications: BLS and ARRT MR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs.

Job Details

• Average Daily Census: 25 patients.
• Working with 2 MRI rooms.
• 40 hours/week available, with shifts from 07:00 - 15:30 and 09:00 - 17:30, alternating weekly.
• Maximum 7 days of RTO for AYA auto offer.
• No call or float requirements; no weekend shifts are required.
• Focus on adult and geriatric patient populations, specifically spine-related diagnoses.

Additional Information

• Unit orientation will be provided based on clinic needs.
• Scrubs are not provided; navy blue scrubs are required.

The expected start date is determined by clinic scheduling and is subject to change. Candidates should have full availability to accommodate changes and potential orientation schedules.
