Description
Job Description
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
Shift Information
- Start Time: 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Required to float within the same discipline across local locations
- Shared weekend coverage among team members
- On call for 10-12 days per month
Orientation Dates
- October 12
- October 26
Winter Holiday Requirements
The traveler will be required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. There is a limit of one day off request between November 25-29 and December 23-27 for all travelers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- First-time traveler welcome
- Active Iowa or compact nursing license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Driver’s License
Additional Information
This position is located in a Level 3 Trauma Center.
