Description
Schedule
Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts, with rotations on weekdays and some weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines.
- Administer medications safely and effectively.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment.
- Educate patients on their treatments and self-care practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for charting patient information.
- Float to lower acuity units as needed to provide assistance.
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain a high standard of patient safety.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and IV certification required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.
- Travel experience is a plus.
