Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in the Cath Lab to provide exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10s, Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week
• Evening and weekend call rotation requirements: 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide high-quality care in the Cath Lab environment
• Assist with various cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Float across multiple locations as required, maintaining continuity of care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CC experience is required
• Experience in structural heart procedures is highly preferred
• Experience in electrophysiology (EP) is highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred
• Experience in scrubbing is preferred
• Required experience in circulating and monitoring during procedures
• Trauma Level II experience is required; Trauma Level I experience is preferred
• Must be willing to float to assist with patient care across multiple locations

Certifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent

Additional Information

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and an active Iowa nursing license or a compact nursing license at the time of submission. Candidates will also be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
