Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in respiratory care and be capable of working in various settings including Med/Surg, ICU, and Step Down units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients, including airway management and medication administration.
• Manage ventilators and perform procedures such as ABGs, O2 Therapy, and Suction.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton T1, and more.
• Support pulmonary toileting and therapies such as BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizer treatments.
• Work collaboratively in a large respiratory care department, maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care.
• Must have valid RRT credentials and North Carolina license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP is preferred.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Experience with bronchoscopes is a plus.
• Ability to work with patients across a wide range of ages, from adolescents to geriatrics.

Work Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts, with options for 36 or 48 hours.
• Rotating weekend requirements: 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
• Orientation will include a few days on the day shift to acclimate to the unit.

Additional Information:

• Daily patient ratios range from 35 to 45 patients per day.
• No floating to other facilities; however, within-unit flexibility is expected.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days for auto-offers.
• Professional attire: black scrubs required.
