Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Therapy

In this role, you'll ensure the safe administration of intravenous therapies, coordinate infusion services, and contribute to operational workflows. About the Role

The Infusion Center sees approximately 15–20 patients per day in this busy and rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Safe and Compassionate Infusion Therapy: Administer IV medications and therapies following established standards while monitoring patient responses and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Coordinate Clinical and Administrative Operations: Manage scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews while maintaining effective communication with providers, payers, and care teams.
• Educate and Support Patients and Families: Provide clear, personalized education about treatment plans, assess understanding, and document teaching efforts to promote informed care.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough and timely documentation in electronic health records, medication administration logs, and transfusion records in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years RN experience required.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred certification: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI).

Additional Information

This position requires reliable transportation as public transportation and rideshare services are not available in the area. Housing resources are available; however, travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. A FLU shot is required for credentialing purposes, with no exceptions.

Shift Information

Day shift, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift. Holiday coverage may be required.
