Description
Job Description
Join our Critical Care Float Pool, offering night shifts with the flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float across various Intensive Care Units (ICUs) based on staffing requirements and patient acuity. This may include:
- Neuro ICU
- Surgical ICUs
- Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
- Cardiology/Diagnostics
- CVICU
- SICU / MICU / NCCU
Float Policy
Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications – Required
- Proficiency with EPIC – Required
- IV Start experience
- Telemetry experience
- Ventilator management experience
Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
Parking Options
- WMC Monthly Permit: Guaranteed 24/7 parking.
- WB Annual Permit: Includes surface parking and shuttle service.
- CXS Annual Permit: Provides parking access.
Permits can be purchased at the designated parking website. Refunds may be available for unused future months.
Shift Schedule
This position will require night shifts consisting of three 12-hour workdays from 19:00 to 07:30. Block scheduling is not available.
