Description
Shift Information
Day shift with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts. Availability will include weekdays and some weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines effectively.
- Administer medications in a safe and precise manner.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses continually.
- Educate patients on treatments and self-care practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate charting.
- Float to lower acuity units as needed based on staffing requirements.
- Adhere to hospital policies while ensuring patient safety.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLC), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and IV certification required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills are essential.
- Travel experience is a plus.
