We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a dynamic emergency room setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in critical nursing skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Details

• Ratios: 1:3-5 patient ratio, 250 visits per day, accommodating 101 beds.
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience, with first-time travelers accepted.
• Period of Employment: Contract length of 13 weeks or more.
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15.
• Float Requirement: Mandatory floating between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health based on need.
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days within a 6-week scheduling period, potentially working every other weekend.
• Unit Orientation: 24 hours of orientation upon starting.
• Scrubs: Navy and white attire required.

Required Skills and Certifications

• IV Start
• Triage
• Telemetry

Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and MOAB certifications.

Additional Requirements

All candidates must successfully complete EKG testing prior to beginning their role.
