We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide efficient patient care in the Emergency Room with a focus on triage and telemetry.
• Perform IV starts and monitor patient conditions consistently.
• Participate in daily shift huddles and maintain effective communication through SBAR techniques.
• Float between the Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health as needed based on unit demands.
• Ensure that patient documentation and care standards align with established protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience in emergency care preferred, but first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Active certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and MOAB.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.
• A minimum of 36-48 hours can be offered per week.
• Weekend commitment: minimum of 4 weekend days every 6 weeks, potentially every other weekend.

Patient Population

Working in a regional referral and tertiary care center serving diverse populations with varying medical needs.

Unit Orientation

Comprehensive orientation provided for 24 hours to ensure readiness for the role.

Dress Code

Scrubs are navy and white.
