Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients. This position involves working in a short-term acute care setting with a mix of patient care responsibilities in both medical-surgical and telemetry units. The nurse will be expected to float between units based on skill sets as needed.
Position Details
- Floating: Yes, between units and facilities based on skill set.
- On-call: Not required.
- Weekends: Required every other weekend.
- Block Scheduling: Not required.
- Expected Ratios: 1:4.
- 48 Hour Approval: No.
Facility Information
The facility is a short-term acute care center with a total of 418 staffed beds. All staff have flexible scrub color requirements, and charting is done using the Epic system. Parking is provided at no cost.
Special Requirements
- Must possess a vehicle for this assignment.
- Travelers may float to units and facilities in the region, which includes areas such as Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside.
- If required to float to Seaside, additional compensation will be provided along with IRS mileage reimbursement.
Shift Information
- Shift Type: Night shift, 3x12 hours.
- Shift Hours: 19:00 - 07:00.
