Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, nights - Total of 36 hours per week.

Job Summary

The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU. This role involves the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with a specific focus on managing complex medical conditions and critical care needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Required Skills:
  • Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
  • Administration of continuous IV sedation
  • Care and management of ventilated patients, including ventilator management

Floating Requirement

Registered Nurses may be required to float to different units as necessary within the organization.
