Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week Home Health assignment in Nebraska. This role is covering a vacancy and offers a weekday day-shift schedule with guaranteed full-time hours. Candidates must have prior home health experience.
Assignment Details
Location: Nebraska
Contract Length: 12–13 weeks
Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks from offer
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (day shift)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in their homes under PT supervision
Implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs
Complete accurate and timely documentation per home health standards
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary home health teams
Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Home Health experience required
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must meet all compliance and credentialing requirements
Strong communication, time-management, and clinical skills
