About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team for 13-week contract assignments. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders while working in diverse clinical settings and supporting patients in achieving improved quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Provide therapy to improve communication skills, cognitive function, and safe swallowing
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
Ensure a safe and organized therapy environment
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of assignment
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (SNF/LTC experience a plus)
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and patient populations
