About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team for 13-week contract assignments. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and support patients in regaining mobility, strength, and functional independence while working in diverse clinical settings.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, and functional outcomes
Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document therapy outcomes accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and strategies to support continued recovery
Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and ensure proper use of equipment
Ensure compliance with facility policies and all state and federal regulations
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program
Current Physical Therapist license in the state of assignment
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and patient populations
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
