Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize rehabilitation outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home exercise programs
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, and overall quality of life
Requirements
- Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Required: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred where applicable
- Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and work independently
