About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a short-term assignment supporting a busy therapy department. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping individuals improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility guidelines

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies to support continued recovery

• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program

• Active Physical Therapist license in Alaska (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to quickly adapt to a new clinical environment

• Previous travel or outpatient/rehab experience preferred
