We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate School Nurse (RN) to fill one full-time position at a non-public all-boys school in Lakewood, NJ. The School Nurse will provide daily health services to students, promote a safe school environment, and support student wellness throughout the school day.
<h3>Schedule</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Monday – Thursday: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM
</li>
<li>
Friday: 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Provide daily nursing care and first aid to students
</li>
<li>
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
</li>
<li>
Monitor and manage student health needs, including chronic conditions
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
</li>
<li>
Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers as needed
</li>
<li>
Respond to medical emergencies and ensure student safety
</li>
<li>
Support health screenings and immunization compliance
</li>
<li>
Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
</li>
<li>
Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
</li>
<li>
Strong communication and organizational skills
</li>
<li>
Ability to work independently in a school setting
</li>
<li>
Commitment to student health, safety, and confidentiality
</li>
