Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and increase overall independence. This role involves working with patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or other physical limitations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve rehabilitation goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, recovery plans, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued therapy services
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting positive patient outcomes
Requirements
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
- Required: Active PT license in state of practice or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
