We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health and counseling services to patients within a clinical setting. The LCSW will support patients through individualized therapeutic interventions while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive mental health outcomes.

Position Details

• Patients are located within the same region
• Providers are generally not expected to work at more than one site per day
• Majority of sessions are scheduled as 53+ minute therapy sessions
• Typical caseload structure is approximately one patient per hour
• Patients are typically seen once per week
• Floating required between Toms River, Spring Lake and Freehold

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual therapy and counseling services to patients
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support when needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, coping strategies, and available resources
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards

Requirements

• Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Required: Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in state of practice
• Preferred: Previous behavioral health, counseling, or clinical social work experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment
