We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist patients in improving daily living skills, functional independence, strength, coordination, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, coordination, and functional performance
• Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home exercise programs, and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support continuity of care
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in a safe and organized manner
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on achieving rehabilitation goals

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Required: Active COTA license in state of assignment or ability to obtain
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt effectively to new clinical environments
