We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to provide coverage for a therapist who will be out of the country on an extended vacation. This is a short-term assignment offering the opportunity to work within an established healthcare team while ensuring continuity of patient care.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to help improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional independence.

Assignment Details

• Coverage Dates Required: 6/8 – 6/11
• Potential Extension: Assignment may be extended beyond these dates, but 6/8 – 6/11 coverage is required
• Assignment Type: Travel / Short-Term Coverage
• Schedule and facility details will be discussed during the interview process

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and recovery strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on positive rehabilitation outcomes
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Required: Active PT license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
• Preferred: Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment
