We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment at a healthcare facility. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Provide therapy services for speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services when appropriate
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving functional outcomes and quality of life

Requirements

• Required: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Required: Active SLP license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt effectively to new clinical environments and patient populations
