Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team for a travel assignment. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy services designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapy professional to expand their clinical experience while working in a new healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, strengthening, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs and rehabilitation goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function, promoting independence, and improving quality of life
- Adapt quickly to facility procedures, documentation systems, and patient populations
Requirements
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Required: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
