Description
We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a Home Health assignment covering the Denton, Texas area. The Physical Therapist will provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes, helping improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall functional independence.
This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 40 guaranteed hours per week. New graduates are welcome to apply.

- Shift: 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in patients' homes.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs, diagnoses, and functional goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, strengthening, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions.
- Assist patients with improving transfers, ambulation, mobility, and overall independence.
- Assess home safety and recommend appropriate assistive devices or modifications when needed.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and home programs.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Travel throughout the Denton, TX area to complete scheduled patient visits.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the home environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Active Physical Therapist license in Texas or ability to obtain one.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a Home Health environment.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage a daily patient schedule.
- Ability and willingness to travel between patients' homes throughout the assigned territory.
- Current BLS certification may be required.
