Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide clinical leadership within the neighborhoods of the facility, ensuring that the mission, vision, and values of the organization are upheld through clinical services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinical Leadership:

    • Oversee clinical staff across households, focusing on areas such as infection control, safety, wound management, and the RAI process.
    • Implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient nursing practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure documentation, medication administration, and resident care meet facility and government standards.
    • Maintain compliance with quality care and resident rights.
  • Resource Management:

    • Support fiscal viability through effective use of resources and maintaining appropriate staffing patterns.
  • Collaboration:

    • Foster teamwork and communication among clinical staff, physicians, and other departments.
    • Address problem-solving collaboratively within the household.
  • Dementia Sensitivity:

    • Demonstrate care practices for individuals with dementia, promoting person-centered care and well-being.
